It’s another Friday night; my third since being back from honeymooning in Mexico, so I’m decked out in cozy sherpa lined socks, curled up under a thick, fuzzy blanket with a cup of hot cocoa on the table beside me. I’ve been sitting in my living room, puppy laying across my lap (he’s no lap dog btw…my feet are asleep!), wondering about #allthethings that have happened this year.
Part of the year seems so surreal, and it’s been a definite whirlwind since the summer. I can’t quite put a finger on it, but while my life before the summer was pretty routine, my life since the summer has been full of growth and self-exploration. I’m more confident these days than I have been in a very long time, and I’m completely happy with a little stress thrown in from not knowing what’s going to happen in my life moving forward (can you relate?).
As the weeks have gotten closer to Christmas I’ve moved a lot of things forward for Social Stampers:
I’m also working on developing a course for all my DIY brides to be and new wedding planners called How to DIY Your Wedding. The course will be going live in the new year – sign up for my mailing list to get all the updates!
And I’ve decided to open an Etsy shop to compliment my website’s shop. You can always shop in Canadian prices on my website’s shop, and the Etsy shop will be there to provide more options to shop in other currencies as well. Stay tuned for when the Etsy shop goes live – right now, it’s a work in progress!
In addition, I’m toying with the idea of providing tutorials each month – if this is something you’re interested in, let me know in the comments below.
I guess I’ll get back to daydreaming about Christmas trees and ornaments…and all the cards and gift tags I have yet to make for this year. It’s been tough deciding which design to make for my family, but I think the theme of all hearts come home for Christmas is going to be the inspiration!
