February is love month, so it’s no surprise that the workshops I ran this month had a theme by request of my class attendees. They wanted to know how to make valentine love greeting cards for work, family, and friends. So, I came up with a few ideas that were easy to make and duplicate if anyone wanted to make cards en masse.
There are a few supplies you’ll need to create these love note inspired cards:
Stamps and Die Cuts
The colour palette I used is so simple, and yet so pretty! It’s not a combination I initially thought would look great, but it does! I use Stampin’ Up! inks, so these colours are their company’s colour names: real red, whisper white, and pool party. If you wanted to use similar colours, you could think of them as white, Santa Suit red and a pale blue or blue-green.
I find some people like to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) exactly as I create it. But, other people like to make their own ideas based off of mine. No matter what pattern or design you decide to create, you can follow these steps to make it super quick and easy to put together beautiful greeting cards.
You might be a serious crafter, or you might be new to crafting. Just in case you’re stuck on how I made these cards quick as a bunny, I have included a few tips and tricks for making the process smoother. I find these techniques save me time and headaches. By following them I can just enjoy the process of creating cards and gifts for people I I love.
You could make greeting cards with the supplies above, or you could make a wide variety of other cute gifts. Just in case you’re searching for other ideas, here are a few to get you started. Just add imagination, and get crafting!!
